El Gobierno de Reino Unido emitió una alerta de viaje a 10 estados de la República Mexicana debido al incremento del índice de violencia por parte de la presencia de cárteles y grupos del crimen organizado.
El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y de la Mancomunidad de Naciones o Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) del Gobierno británico recomienda no realizar viajes no esenciales a ciertos territorios de México en donde “la violencia relacionada con el narcotráfico es un problema”, ya que “los enfrentamientos armados entre las fuerzas de seguridad y los grupos de narcotraficantes pueden producirse en cualquier momento y sin previo aviso”.
De acuerdo con la FCDO del Gobierno de Reino Unido, no se recomienda viajar a los siguientes estados del país:
- Baja California
- Chihuahua
- Colima
- Guanajuato
- Guerrero
- Jalisco
- Michoacán
- Sinaloa
- Tamaulipas
- Zacatecas
De acuerdo con la página web oficial del Gobierno de Reino Unido, estas zonas de México tienen un alto índice de delincuencia debido a la lucha entre bandas rivales del crimen organizado en donde existe el riesgo de quedar atrapado en el fuego cruzado o de ser confundido con un miembro de una banda rival.
“Pueden producirse estallidos de violencia por motivos políticos en todo el país, con un reciente aumento en los estados de Guerrero y Ciudad de México (CDMX). Los curiosos pueden verse arrastrados rápidamente”, asegura la FCDO el comunicado sobre los riesgos de terrorismo global para los ciudadanos británicos en el extranjero.
