Xóchitl Gálvez, aspirante a la candidatura presidencial por el Frente Amplio por México, retó al presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador a que este le compruebe las acusaciones de que en nueve años, sus empresas recibieron contratos por mil 400 millones de pesos, de ser así, ella renunciará a la candidatura, de lo contrario, pidió que el mandatario deje su puesto.
El periodista Ciro Gómez Leyva entrevistó a la panista en donde ella afirmó que es falso que haya recibido una suma como la que mencionó el Presidente durante su conferencia matutina. Además, aclaró que, en dicho lapso, sus empresas firmaron contratos por 46 millones de pesos.
«Reto al Presidente: si él me demuestra que tengo contratos por mil 400 millones de pesos, renuncio hoy a la candidatura y si no, que él renuncie a la Presidencia, por mentiroso», declaró en entrevista radiofónica.
Gálvez detalló que en ese lapso tuvo contratos por 2 mdp en el gobierno de Vicente Fox; 14 millones 838 mil pesos en la gestión de Felipe Calderón; 12 mdp en la administración de Enrique Peña Nieto; y por 17 mdp en lo que va de la gestión de López Obrador, lo que da una cifra de 46 millones de pesos.
