En Michoacán, la Secretaría de Educación informó que debido a la intensa ola de calor que prevalece en la entidad, se tomó la decisión de suspender las clases en cinco municipios de la región de tierra Caliente.
Se trata de los municipios de Churumuco, Tiquicheo, Huetamo, San Lucas y Tuzantla donde se aplicará esta medida los días jueves 22 y viernes 23 de junio del presente año. Dijo que esa medida es aplicable para las escuelas de educación inicial, preescolar, primaria y secundaria.
Para el resto de los municipios del estado, las autoridades llamaron a mantener las acciones preventivas ya establecidas: suspensión de actividades que expongan a los estudiantes al sol, entre las 10:00 y las 16:00 horas.
La SEE reiteró su llamado a todos los actores educativos a aplicar estas medidas preventivas. Recomendó también a los padres de familia que extremen cuidados hacia los menores de edad. Lo anterior, señaló: “procurando la hidratación necesaria y evitando la exposición prolongada al sol”.
