Al dar un informe de la situación económica del país, el jefe del Ejecutivo federal presumió que la economía mexicana registra niveles récord en generación de empleos, salario promedio e inversión extranjera.
El presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador aseguró que la economía va saliendo adelante tras la crisis generada por la pandemia de Covid y pronosticó que para este año haya un crecimiento anual del 4% y confió que aumente el próximo año, el último de su gobierno.
”Nuestro pronóstico para este año es que podemos llegar a 4% de crecimiento anual y esto va a subir y lo mismo el año próximo que ya va a ser el último año de nuestro gobierno, pero nos tocó este imprevisto (la pandemia) y estamos saliendo”, indicó.
Afirmó que en estos casi cinco años de gobierno, la población mexicana ha recibido más apoyos, hay más ingresos, menos pobreza y esto se ha logrado fundamentalmente por no permitir la corrupción.
”Cuando hablo de los de arriba acuérdense que siempre he sostenido la consigna, la frase, la máxima de `Arriba los de abajo´, que no quiere decir abajo los de arriba, sino abajo los privilegios. Todo lo hemos conseguido fundamentalmente y esa es la clave por no permitir la corrupción, porque se dedicaban a saquear a México”, dijo.
Comparó el comportamiento del peso en sexenios pasados en donde en el gobierno de la Madrid el peso se devaluó en más de 2000%; con Carlos Salinas de Gortari fue de 36%; con Ernesto Zedillo fue de 182%; en el gobierno de Vicente Fox fue de 15.5%, mientras que con Felipe Calderón fue de 5.3% y con Enrique Peña Nieto fue de 43%.
“Seguimos manteniendo el primer lugar en cuanto a la fortaleza del peso con relación al dólar (…) hemos recuperado la fuerza del peso. Se ha apreciado en 13.2% el peso en el tiempo que llevamos en el gobierno”.
En materia de salario, el presidente López Obrador indicó que este es de 16 mil pesos mensuales en promedio.
