Luego de que e las últimas semanas se reportaran casos de meningitis en Tamaulipas, esta mañana el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador informó que dichos eventos ya se encuentran siendo invetigados por personal de su gobierno, y que todo apunta que se hicieron uso de medicamentos en mal estado.
El mandatario reconoció que hasta el momento ya cuenta con información sobre el fallecimiento de personas por bacterias en clínicas de Matamoros.
En este sentido, el político tabasqueño apuntó que esta situación se presentó debido a un medicamento que es usado para la anestesia durante cirugías plásticas, el cual está en mal estado y se aplicó en dos hospitales privados de Matamoros.
Efectivamente, hay una contaminación que produjo estos medicamentos y se está haciendo una investigación, se está haciendo una investigación, porque este producto se utiliza en cirugías plásticas y lo aplicaron en dos hospitales privados en Matamoros, por lo que se está ayudando a quienes resultaron afectados”, externó el jefe del Eejecutivo en Palacio Nacional.
Para finalizar con el tema, el presidente indicó que giro instrucciones al Subsecretario de Prevención y Promoción de la Salud Hugo López-Gatell para atender dicha situación.
